Zilla Jr. by a3dkid Zilla Jr. by a3dkid
Just a pic I did of Zilla Jr. from "Godzilla: The Series", the Zilla far more loved by the fandom compared to his father.

Also, I drew this for Nostaligia's sake, having remembered shoving aside Digimon on FOX Kids in America as a kid just to watch Zilla Jr. fight monsters.

It took quite a while just to figure out his color scheme, since him being darker in-series, but bluish in most official art. I chose the darker color-scheme because I recognize him better that way.

Zilla Jr. is (c) of Toho

It's fun to see that this series is much better and more faithful to the original Godzilla that the film released in 1998.

I always think of Zilla as a female for some reason. xD So I think of her as his mom instead of his dad. lol Anyway, I love how you drew Zilla Jr. owo

Odd! Always that him as a guy from the getgo due to everyone calling him a male (that apprently lays eggs... yeah I don't get it either).

lol I think the main reason I always thought of her as female was because she laid eggs. xD It seems like lots of people automatically call animals 'he' even if they don't know for sure if they're male or female. xD

That's true! When I was a kid, I actually thought Zilla was a girl because it laid eggs, but turns out (according to Toho) he's still male... for some reason. I think the automatic part is mostly due to culture, especially when it comes to reptiles, since most reptiles (like dinosaurs) have very masculine sounding names and suffixes.
