The Behemoth Star Tyrant

Hey there everyone! These past few weeks were a busy one for me, mostly due to the issue of college preparations! I found two colleges that I might choose to apply soon, as well as watching my first animation seminar and applying what I learnt from there to my hand-drawn work, so again sorry I haven't been updating as frequently as I should be lately!

Now onto the original image, you have no idea how frustrating painting this image was on photoshop, it ate so much memory I was afraid that my laptop might crash on me again (this is what happened when I was editing part 3 of my Kaijuverse tutorial, which is one of the reasons why it's taking so long for me to finish).

So what is the Behemoth Star Tyrant you ask? Well me and my brother are currently co-working on a certain project of ours, codenamed only as Project Pantheon. Essentially this a science-fantasy story based on if humans were to actually rule alongside not just mythical creatures and fantasy races, but also Gods, Demi-Gods, Angels and Demons in our plane of existence, and actually conquering galaxies throughout the universe. My bro's a big Warhammer fan, and I'm a huge fan of History and Religious Studies and from we decided to try and create a space epic of our own. From the many, many ideas that spawned, one of them is the Star Tyrant our analogue to Behemoth of Abrahamic faith.

You see, for our universe, it revolves around the idea that the line between "the afterlife" and "mortal realm" blurring, humans and not aliens being an inately psionic race, and the consequences of it. During a great a period of violence, we humans actually manifested an actual war god to the mortal plane, and that war god is the Roman god of war, Mars who's the main character of the project. From that, with more and more Gods and Godesses manifesting themselves, as well as races like Angels and Djinn on different corners of the Galaxy, other, more mysterious and terrifying entities manifest themselves to our realm. One of these entities is Colosso, the Impossible Planet drawn from the collective imaginations of how humans percieve animals, their associations with certain concepts as well how we percieve monsters to look like.

Just for a sense of scale, you know those smaller monsters under Behemoth's shadow? They're taller than Olympus Mons (25km), the reason being is that Colosso, before it's manifestation to the mortal plane, acted like the afterlife for animals, the longer you stay alive, the bigger and more powerful you become, and the animal taking the role of behemoth is literally the last Tyrannosaurus rex to bite the dust during the K-T event, first powered by the human perception of "the giant monster", as well as the planet's unique ecosytem. There's only one rule on the Impossible Planet, survive, and the Star Tyrant is the result of one animal managing to survive eons in a timeless realm. And how big is this planet you ask? AS BIG AS OUR FREAKIN' SOLAR SYSTEM (which can be over 9 billion km long when you include the Oort cloud).

Other "Great Beast" analogues we have already thought up includes Leviathan (in our project, literally a race of Matter eating space sharks, and the only other beast with confirmed designs), Ziz, Cerberus, Fenris, Krakens, and Typhon, each creature associated with a different abstract concept. For Behemoth, we chose "Indomitable".

While Project Pantheon focuses more on Gods and Godesses, I chose submitting the Star Tyrant first because you all know me more as a designer of monsters and kaijus, so I thought submitting him first would be the logical choice. I dunno if I should submit the human celestials on DA, or I should stick submitting them onto Tumblr, since you all know me as, well, a monster/kaiju artist!
